Som ett led i H&M:s hållbarhetsarbete lanseras i april Conscious Collection, en återkommande kollektion i miljösmarta material som ekologisk bomull, Tencel ® och återvunnen polyester för dam, herr och barn. H&M:s designers har inspirerats av olika nyanser av vitt som är vårens viktigaste färgpalett. ”Det handlar inte bara om ekologisk bomull längre. Idag finns det stora möjligheter till kompletta modeuttryck med miljösmarta material. Genom att designa återkommande Conscious kollektioner har vi nu en möjlighet att på olika sätt visa vad man kan göra med mer hållbara material”, säger Ann-Sofie Johansson, designchef på H&M. ”Vita toner är säsongens största färgtrend, vilket känns rätt att fånga upp i denna kollektion. Conscious Collection är en kollektion som kommer att återkomma i H&M:s sortiment vid olika tillfällen och med olika uttryck. Vårens kollektion är en uppföljare till förra årets framgångsrika Garden Collection med miljömedvetet mode. MILJÖSMARTA MATERIAL Ekologisk bomullÄr bomull som har odlats utan användning av farliga kemikalier. Ekologiskt linneÄr linne som har odlats utan användning av farliga kemikalier. Återvunnen polyesterÄr polyester som har tillverkats av PET-flaskor, textilavfall eller gamla plagg . Tencel Silkesliknande, förnybart material som har tillverkats med minimerad miljöpåverkan.
